Kelsey Beach, PT, DPT, CMTPT completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri. After her schooling, Kelsey moved to Florida to continue her learning at Florida Hospital with a team of Pelvic Physical Therapists and started her training through Herman & Wallace Institute. In 2013, she moved back to her hometown of Kansas City, Missouri to continue to learn and grow as a physical therapist, expanding her skills in orthopedics, pelvic physical therapy and pediatric pelvic physical therapy.
Kelsey has had the opportunity to lecture for OB/GYN, Pediatric GI/Urology and collegiate level classes demystifying pelvic physical therapy, and how to apply treatments for men, women and children. Though Kelsey is trained in majority of areas for pelvic physical therapy, Kelsey has taken a special interest in pediatric pelvic floor dysfunction for both bowel and bladder conditions.
Through her learning, Kelsey enjoys treating patients as a whole and not just a pelvic patient. Being an avid triathlete herself, Kelsey has found the importance of looking at the body as a whole and educating on active versus passive stability and applying those clinical pearls to all patients. Kelsey joined Foundational Concepts in May 2017 to further her clinical skills and eventually sit for the Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification through Herman and Wallace.
