Originally from Wayne, New Jersey, Sammie earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from James Madison University before going on to receive her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Saint Mary. During her doctoral training, she completed Pelvic Floor Level 1 through Herman & Wallace, which further solidified her commitment to pelvic health rehabilitation.
Her passion for pelvic floor physical therapy became deeply personal after witnessing her mother’s recovery following a surgery back in 2020. Seeing firsthand the profound impact pelvic floor therapy had on her healing reshaped her perspective on physical therapy and revealed just how essential this specialty is for so many individuals. She quickly discovered that she truly loves treating pelvic floor and values the meaningful, often life-changing progress that can come from this work.
She is especially passionate about educating her patients on the importance of pelvic floor therapy and its role in overall everyday life. She has a peaked interest in the athletic population to raise awareness on injury prevention through appropriate body mechanics and core activation. She believes pelvic health is vital for everyone and is committed to empowering her patients through education and individualized care.
Outside of the clinic, Sammie enjoys spending time with her friends, lifting, reading, and unwinding with a good reality TV show.
