Mackenzie was born and raised in Paola, KS. Growing up she was actively involved in competitive dancing which led her to attend Oklahoma City University where she was majoring in Dance performance. While studying dance performance she soon realized she had a passion for the human body. This led her to transfer to Kansas State University where she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Mackenzie then received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Rockhurst University.

 

Mackenzie is honored to be part of the Foundational Concepts team because she gets to help all patients gain their functional independence back. She hopes to empower, guide, and motivate her patients to be the best version of themselves. Mackenzie strives to provide each patient with a holistic and individualized plan of care that focuses on improving the whole body including physical and mental health. She has clinical experience with pelvic floor, vestibular, neuro, and orthopedic physical therapy.
Mackenzie is newly married to her middle school sweetheart and they plan to keep their roots planted in Kansas to grow their family and careers. When she is not at work you can find her coaching fitness classes, spending time with her family in their food truck, or traveling.
